The Hybrid WRC format offers 8 hours of self-paced, online instruction followed by two consecutive days in the classroom on March 27 & 28th. The online component is hosted on CANVAS®, a cloud-based classroom and powerful learning management system that allows individual students to work at a personalized pace. The online material consists of reading assignments, case studies, videos, photos, animations, quizzes, and a midterm exam and is available approximately 1 month before the in-person classroom section. To be eligible for this course you must send in a copy of your current WFR certification, it must be recognized by the Wilderness Medicine Education Collaborative. Our Hybrid WRC curriculum, following the Certification Standards established by the Wilderness Medicine Education Collaborative (WMEC), not only enables recertification reciprocity but also ensures employer recognition, validating the importance of your certification.

Course Cancellation Policy:
•Cancellations must be made 30 days or more prior to the scheduled in-person course start date to be eligible for a full refund.
•Cancellations made less than 30 days and greater than 14 days prior to the in person course start date are eligible for 75% refund. If another individual (such as one on a waitlist) takes the cancelling student’s place, a full refund will be issued to the student after the replacement individual has registered.
•Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to the in-person course start date will result in a loss of all fees paid. If another individual (such as one on a waitlist) takes the cancelling student’s place, a 75% refund will be issued to the student after the replacement individual has registered.
•Courses cancelled by the OP will be refunded in full. OP reserves the right to cancel courses at any time due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances.
