Our rental period lasts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the same day. We do offer a 30 minute return window every following morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. so you can have more time to play! Product Description

Join us for some beautiful alpine backpacking to camp at a super scenic lake at approximately 12,000 feet above sea level. The trip will be in the Elk Mountains in Colorado.

Total distance and gain is about 15.5 miles with 5,500 feet of gain, topping out at Electric Pass Peak at 13,632 feet above sea level. That distance will be split up over 3 days! This trip suitable for backpackers of all skill levels, but the trail will be steep and rocky.

Reservations

Reservations can be made in advance online or by calling the Outdoor Program at (970)248-1428. Full payment is required at the time a rental and/or reservation is made.

Reservation refund policy

If your reservation is canceled more than 3 days out you receive a 100% refund.

If your reservation is canceled more than 2 days out you receive a 50% refund.

If your reservation is canceled less than 2 days out you receive no refund.

Return Policy

All gear is due back the following morning after use between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. All late gear will have a late fee applied. All gear must be returned during regular business hours (8:30am to 5pm).

Campus Community Discounts

MAVcards are required for Student and Staff rentals. Alumni Card required for Alumni rentals.
