Our rental period lasts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the same day. We do offer a 30 minute return window every following morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. so you can have more time to play! Product Description

This is an intermediate level trip due to the inherently difficult nature of climbing 14ers. However, this is a very good 14er for your first ever mountain if you have been looking to attempt a 14er hike in Colorado. It is one of the easier 14er hikes offered in Colorado, with under 7 miles of hiking and less than 4,000 feet of elevation gain.

During our Quandary peak camping trip, we will spend time admiring the beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains on our way towards the Mosquito / Ten mile range of mountains on Saturday, followed by a short hike to Radium Hot springs where we will enjoy the hot springs and camp. Then, the following morning, we will drive to Quandary peak trailhead Sunday morning to attempt climbing the 14er Quandary peak.

Reservations

Reservations can be made in advance online or by calling the Outdoor Program at (970)248-1428. Full payment is required at the time a rental and/or reservation is made.

Reservation refund policy

If your reservation is canceled more than 3 days out you receive a 100% refund.

If your reservation is canceled more than 2 days out you receive a 50% refund.

If your reservation is canceled less than 2 days out you receive no refund.

Return Policy

All gear is due back the following morning after use between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. All late gear will have a late fee applied. All gear must be returned during regular business hours (8:30am to 5pm).

Campus Community Discounts

MAVcards are required for Student and Staff rentals. Alumni Card required for Alumni rentals.
